WHO AM I?
I am a second generation college student. Without Big Mama, Madea, Sarah, Gloria, and Crystal I would not be where I stand today. Without David and Bobby I would not be where I stand today. Born to the Alabama winds and raised in the Georgia Red clay. To know myself is to know them.
WHAT I'VE DONE
I have hosted numerous vegan cooking events. I have also worked as an AmeriCorps member serving minority and marginalized adolescents in East Atlanta. I received my BS of Education in Speech Pathology with a minor in Management from the University of West Georgia. I am currently pursuing my MS in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Thomas University. I will be graduating Fall 2021. Most recently I have served as student ambassador for the LPCA of GA and family ambassador for DECAL (GA).
WHAT I DO
I am a clinical mental health graduate student specializing in minority and marginalized adolescents and the Black Deaf and Hard of Hearing populations. I also work with future and current mental health students wanting to find their niche in the mental health fields.
